The Horse Hospital is a Grade II listed Community Hub in Camden
FFS worked with Helm X and VPPR Architects to provide Schuco Steel Glazing to the new restaurant and bar on the north end of the historic complex.
The challenge was to blend the historic Victorian architecture with ultra-modern and visually stimulating 21st century design to maximise the light and space of the elevated position of the bar above the historic equine complex. The Architects solution was to mimic the curvature of a horse feeding stall into the façade and roofline to soften the clean lines of the steel curtain wall glazing.
Utilizing a warm grey PPC finish to the glazing profiles along soft metallic gold for the secondary steelwork further complements the landmark Victorian brickwork facades.
FFS were very proud to work on such an important and significant project.
