Theatre Royal
Built in 1865 by wealthy Lace Manufacturers – the Theatre Royal Nottingham is often referred to as The Grand Old Lady of Nottingham.
In the heart of London’s SoHo – Carnaby Street is the historic hub for many boutique stores and independent designers.
With its hip and artistic vibe, FFS worked with Brimelow McSweeny Architects on the refurbishment of 5-7 Carnaby Street.
The project was a mixed use office and retail space featuring a spectacular new Green Wall Façade, internal fire-rated loft style glazing and external steel framed windows.
FFS provided a range of Schuco Steel Glazing Systems to achieve the required fire protection to the stair lobbies along with exceptional thermal performance with the installation of the heritage steel windows to the front façade, fitting seamlessly within the environmentally conscious Green Wall
The result offers a unitised aesthetic that runs throughout the building and provides 21st century protection and performance in this iconic location.
