Theatre Royal
Built in 1865 by wealthy Lace Manufacturers – the Theatre Royal Nottingham is often referred to as The Grand Old Lady of Nottingham.
The South Downs Centre will be a hub for communities in the National Park and a base for people who work, partner and volunteer for the South Downs National Park.
Based in the north wing of Capron House and the Memorial Hall in Midhurst, the South Downs Centre will also help to preserve two important listed buildings aiming to reach the highest possible level of sustainability using local skills and materials.
We recently employed Future Fire Solutions to undertake the fabrication and installation of main entrance draught lobby screens, automated sliding doors and internal fire rated glazed screens, on our project at Capron House, Midhurst for South Downs National Park Authority. As the existing building is Listed it was important that the screen designs and framing sections compliment the fabric of the building, hence the Schuco system was specified.
We approached Future Fire Solutions to help with the project at short notice following the demise of the original specialist subcontractor we had appointed. I would like to thank Jenny, Matt and Paul for their help with the project and for pulling out all the stops in meeting the required delivery dates, especially as we were one of their first customers since Future Fire Solutions were formed and our order came at a time when they were setting up the factory.
